Izabella Pörös was born December 7, 1982, in Budapest, Hungary. Her fascination for films began as a child. With her mother being an English language teacher and her father a film critic, she grew up watching English speaking movies. Wanting to be a filmmaker she attended screenwriting workshops, such as James V. Hart’s master class in Budapest, Hungary, and studied acting for five years that later helped her to work with actors. She won several film awards after completing her short film, “It’s a long way”, which went on to become a New York City International Film Festival finalist and Izabella was nominated for best direction.
